Nestled in the vibrant heart of Playa del Carmen, Tahini offers an authentic taste of Mediterranean cuisine. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service, this restaurant has quickly won over locals and visitors alike. Highlights from the menu include the Albondigas Biblos—juicy lamb meatballs in a fragrant mint and garlic sauce—along with the Cous Cous Tahini, featuring sautéed bell peppers atop velvety beet hummus, which receives rave reviews. Guests frequently mention the impeccable flavors and creative presentations that elevate dishes like the tender chicken kebabs and the traditional falafel, praised for their crispy texture. The warm hospitality further enhances the dining experience, with many customers emphasizing the friendly staff who make everyone feel at home. Arielle Black's comment resonates with all who try the grape leaves, termed the best by many, while Pablo Herrera's vegan plate speaks volumes about the attention to detail across dietary preferences. From delightful appetizers like Baba Ganoush to unique desserts like walnut pie with ice cream, each offering reflects a commitment to quality and flavor. If you’re looking for a remarkable meal filled with Mediterranean flair, dining at Tahini is an experience you won't want to miss.

We discovered this little gem by chance on 38th and absolutely LOVED the food! Everything from the appetizers to the main course (chicken kebabs with grilled vegetables) was EXCELLENT! Don’t hesitate...GO!!!

Awesome mediterranean Lebanese restaurant - we had an amazing time here. The drinks were all very good (the kids had Lemonwater with mint and Limonada, adults had Tecate beer and Margarita Mezcal). We had Baba Ganoush and Batata Harra as appetizers - both were fingerlicking good . For entre, we had falafel pocket sandwiches (the falafel was crispy and yummy) and Couscous tahini (couscous with beetroot hummus - it tasted pretty good). The icing on the cake was the dessert - a walnut pie with icecream. It was very different from anything I've eaten before and very tasty. Worth giving a try, especially as a vegetarian

Came to this place twice the food was authentic and delicious also very well priced. Hookah was traditional and fantastic so many places get it wrong and this place is spot on! Agostina was my waitress and she was fantastic as well as the hostess

Super tasty food. Mint and hibiscus lassi, Manoush Con Zaatar and Batata Harra are a must try. Falafal were great and cuscus was the I have tried. This place also has a nice outdoor ambiance under tree canopy. Also Jasmine was a great host!
